We will be starting our 6th annual SI player rankings.  
 
Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.
 
Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around. 
 
Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

Before the playoffs I think you could make a case for someone else, but it is impossible for me to go anywhere but Kyrie here.

based on Kyrie finishing #4 last year and the recency bias of this year's Finals I have a feeling I know how this is going to end, but voting Wall

I've always valued two way players, and when you're as good as Wall is on both ends it is hard for me to see Kyrie or Lillard over Wall. But most on this board have recency bias, like you said, and value offense more than I do.

Wall can't shoot threes. That's a vital skill for a modern PG. He's not better than Kyrie at this point.

And Kyrie can't play defense which is also pretty important for the modern PG

He's shot 34% from three over the past three seasons. Not a great number but probably around average if I had to guess. I'd also argue it's not all that vital for a PG.

Not to mention, I'd say being able to play defense at the point of attack is much more important and Wall has Kyrie beat there by miles.

Lillard is a better shooter than Kyrie IMO. Lillard can pass and definitely has really good handles. Lillard is a leader.

I'd take Lillard over Kyrie as well. Really curious where Kyrie would be on this list if he didn't play for Cleveland.
