i think skilled and talented are pretty much the same word here

imo

skill = number of things a player can do
talent = the level a player performs at

dray is more skilled (he can do more) but millsap has more talent (significantly a much better scorer)

Correct. For me I ask this question, if you put both of these guys on the most average NBA team you can dream up, what do they become? For example, I have a feeling you would see Draymonds efficiency really fall, while something like his turnovers become really problematic.

I'm torn. I think Draymond had a much better season and is better in the role he's currently in. Probably a better defender. But he's in such a sweet spot. He gets to play a lot of 4-3 when teams trap curry, and that pads his assist numbers (still a great passer for his size).

I think I'd take Millsap if I was building a team around either. Definitely wouldn't want to build around Draymond. But I'd rather have Draymond on my team if that makes any sense.

I went with Draymond.

I didn't really do a deep dive on that one. Could look at stats later and change my mind. But I'm fine with rewarding green for the year he had, even if he's in such a favorable situation.
