There's no proof behind it, but Pujols has been talked about for being on something... I don't care to be honest, because everyone is doing it and seemingly everyone has their opinions. Without proof, I don't care. With proof, I probably wouldn't care anyway.

You need to re-check the stats. A-Rod now has 17 HR's this year. He is projected to hit 26 this season which would put him at 609 heading into 2011 and 154 HR's away from breaking the record. After this year, he will have seven years left on his contract. A-Rod would only have to average 22 HR's per season for the remainder of his contract to break the record. Something that he is more than capable of doing, despite your claims.

BTW: How much criticism would A-Rod be getting if he still played for the mariners or the Rangers?
Without A-Rod the Yankees are much less hated. Back then, people would love this kind of guy but these guys are becoming villains. I watched the Fan 590 (Toronto Radio Show) and the host was saying that this is the biggest problem in sports. That we hate the guys that are close to beating records. Hank Aaron back then was cheered in almost every stadium he went to play at. If Barry Bonds hit that homer to beat Hank Aaron on the road, he would've been booed more than ever, who knows what would happen. I guess it's just the steroid era though.

arod is a douche.

its just as well though, cause he fits in with the rest of the yankees and what they and most of their fans represent.

That's not the case for me, I cheered for Bonds to break the record, the only reason I'm not doing the same with a-rod is because he's a douche and a yankee
