Why is there such a heated debate that leads to fucking vote rigging in a topic about the 9th best SG in the league?

Tyreke is not a Top 10 SG, at all. Whether you think Kobe is good or not is irrelevant -- There are so many people on this list better than Reke

And just putting this out there:

While NBA 2K doesn't have perfect ratings, they aren't a bad source for a reference to certain players' skills. In response to Tyreke Evans being an "elite on ball defender", lets see the rankings for that rating on 2K15, for all SGs.

T1. Tony Allen (94)
T1. Klay Thompson (94)
3. Jimmy Butler (88)
4. Kobe Bryant (85)
5. Avery Bradley (84)
6. Demar Derozan (83)
7. Dwyane Wade (82)
T8: Tyreke Evans (80)
T8: Victor Oladipo (80)
T8: Wes Matthews (80)

And here's the overall ratings for SGs in general

1. James Harden (94)
T2. Klay Thompson (87)
T2. Dwyane Wade (87)
T4. Jimmy Butler (85)
T4. Demar Derozan (85)
T4. Kobe Bryant (85)
7. Brandon Knight (82)
T8. Tyreke Evans (80)**
T8. Kevin Martin (80)
T8. Monta Ellis (80)
T11. Victor Oladipo (79)
T11. Jamal Crawford (79)
T11. Kyle Korver (79)
T14. Tony Allen (78)
T14. Wes Matthews (78)
T16. Bradley Beal (76)
T16. JJ Redick (76)
T16. Danny Green (76)
T16. Avery Bradley (76)

** Evans is rated an 81 as a SG, but is (rightfully so) listed as a SF in the game

So according to 2K, Evans would be a Top 10 SG, if he actually were a SG (according to 82games he played a lot more SF than SG). But knowing how Beal, Redick, and Matthews have all been voted in already, leaving Derozan in front of him, and then accounting for players who's ratings are probably lower than they should be (Danny Green, for instance), I'm not putting Tyreke in the Top 10.

I'm also changing my vote to Derozan.

inefficient, plays no d, and has no 3 point shot to speak of. he sucks
The players getting voted over him though? If DeMar's shot isn't falling he does get to the line to make up for it. In fact I remember he was top 5 in getting to the line at a point, even more frequently then lebron. I guess people don't consider that a talent? And I wouldn't say he's inefficient nor really efficient. I've found he's had stretches, especially when Rudy Gay was here where he was hard to watch but I've found he's always found a way to help us win even if he has to rebound. I honestly think he's a more versatile talent than guys like Korver

I do think Nola overrates his defense

He's elite on the ball (especially in ISO), horrific off the ball...so overall he's somewhere in the middle.

Maybe elite is a stretch, but I know what my eyes tell me and the numbers back it back. He is an elite ISO defender, that's not even up for debate. He's also a good PnR defender, turns opponents over a good bit, doesn't foul, teams don't shoot all that well, teams really don't go at him to often in the PnR to be honest.

Here is an exert from an article regarding Tyreke:
Tyreke Evans off the ball is a nightmare. On the ball, in isolation, he is elite. According to the Synergy stats, he ranked in the 96th percentile in these situations, allowing just 0.53 points per possession. Guys shoot just 22.7% against him in those situations, and I watched each of these possessions and you can see why. Tyreke has plenty of length, so he can play off a guy and bothers a guy with his strength when the player drives. Of high minute perimeter players this season, only Jae Crowder and Aaron Afflalo finished with better numbers.

And that doesn't seem like a red flag to you? Jae Crowder was a solid defender, but he was far from "Top 2 on-ball ISO defender", and Afflalo was not that great of a defender either.

Teams simply don't go after him, has nothing to do with small sample size. Offenses know how good he was. It's not like teams didn't isolate the Pelicans, we were one of the most isolated teams in the league.

The thing about him is, when he's shooting bricks, he'll try to shoot his way out of a slump instead of moving the ball around. His unwillingness to pass really kills the offense, and like I said, his perimeter defense leaves a lot to be desired.
