lan Hahn is reporting that a possible three-way blockbuster trade could be completed.

The Knicks, Warriors and Clippers may be on the verge of a trade that would involve Jamal Crawford, Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins being traded in a cap-clearing move that would see the Knicks bring in Tim Thomas, Cuttino Mobley and Al Harrington.

The Clippers would land Randolph and the Warriors would receive Jamal Crawford.

All three of the players New York would acquire have contratcs that expire by 2010 when LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh may be free-agents.

The Knicks could be looking to clear two maximum salary slots for that summer's free-agency period.

Even better, then the Harrington/Crawford trade....

Two Maximum salary spots?

How you say it Maple?

Oh lawd. lol

Seriously though, ZBo and Crawford have played great this year, and we clearly are giving up the most. I would like to see some talent come our way instead of just Harrington. But if it means we're gonna have money to at least have a chance at signing one of the big names this offseason, so be it. Id rather have Kaman involved in the deal, it would leave us with just one max salary, but its stilla shot at LeBron or anyone else we have on our radar in 2010.

Eh,
This deal could trigger the Monte GTFOH deal.
Chris Mullin is Worst GM of the Year award.
Lets add Stephen Jackson, Jamaal Crawford, Monte Ellis, Corey Maggette, Kelenna Azubuike, Marco Belinelli, Anthony Morrow
, Anthony Randolph, C.J. Watson, Marcus Williams, Brandan Wright

They are all fukkin guards who shoot the rock or want the rock in there hands all the time! Good job! Eleven players who can player the perimeter.

EDIT: I Forgot Kurz so the count is 12.

"I'll upside your head with an Umbrella Chris Mullin"

Now their saying Bellinelli might be involved in the deal too. I would like to acquire him, besides Q-Rich we wont have any shooters after the trade (if it happens) and Im curious to see how well he would play in D'Antoni's offense.

Clippers nearing trade for Knicks’ Randolph
By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports

The New York Knicks have agreed in principle to send power forward Zach Randolph to the Los Angeles Clippers, two league sources said Friday afternoon.

The Clippers would send Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley to the Knicks for Randolph and guard Mardy Collins.

After trading Jamal Crawford to the Golden State Warriors for Al Harrington on Friday morning, the Knicks would’ve cleared approximately $27 million in salary cap space for the summer of 2010 when their obsession, Cleveland’s LeBron James, can become a free agent.

Randolph will be making $17.3 million and Crawford, $10.1 million, in 2010. For the Knicks, this would create significant flexibility as that historic free agent class of James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh hits the market.
