he was young still, still could have learned how to be a better defender. youre a fool if you think they only traded him because he wasnt a good enough defender. lol

Show me where I said that, or even implied it. Some of you guys have the worst reading skills.

Don't be a fool bosox, your a Celtics fan so you should know that you aren't going to last with Doc if you don't play defense.

And to really believe that his defensive play isn't a reason for being on three different NBA teams already is completely idiotic.
Celtics roster in 2006-07 (the season before they traded for KG and Ray):

Paul Pierce
Al Jefferson
Wally Szczerbiak
Delonte West
Ryan Gomes
Tony Allen
Rajon Rondo
Theo Ratliff
Gerald Green
Kendrick Perkins
Sebastian Telfair
Brian Scalabrine
Allan Ray
Leon Powe
Michael Olowokandi

Olowokandi and Allan Ray were released after the season.

Celtics then traded rights to the 5th overall pick, Szczerbiak, West for Ray Allen and a 2nd round pick.

Then, Boston traded Ratliff, Telfair, Gomes, Green, 2 1sts, and Al Jefferson for KG.

So we already traded our draft picks. We werent trading Allen or Pierce, that would defeat the purpose of getting KG. All that remained were:

Rajon Rondo, an unknown entity that nobody thought was any good. Celtics tried hard to get another PG after getting KG. Rondo had little value.
Kendrick Perkins. Same as Rondo: little value.
Scal: Do I need to say anything
Tony Allen: young, undersized guard, who was injured and barely played. Little value
Leon Powe: Who? only played 11mpg. No value

C's wanted KG, and gave up their best available player in Jefferson to get him

1. D12
2. Gasol
3. Horford
4. Bynum
5. Jefferson
1- Dwight
2- Bynum
3- Bogut
4- Gasol
5- Horford

That would be my list.

Anyway, we still need another vote for either Jefferson or Horford. If you haven't voted yet please do so.

Bogut definetly didn't play up to his standards last season, but he was still pretty good. I think the recovery from that elbow injury really effected his play. I'm interested to see if he can bounce back this year.
