The more discussion/debate we get in this thread, the better.

While you can make a case for yourself, you cannot vote for yourself.

Voting will close when the playoffs begin. It's a regular season award. Always a chance you could get paid for voting, so you should vote. Just fucking vote.

Best record in the league (59-23) with my best player missing 32 games, my second best player missing 20 games, and my best bench player missing 40 games. Built the best defensive team in the league (by a sizeable margin) in the off-season while also trading for one of the game's best young scoring bigs (John Collins).

I'll throw my name in, retooled my team in the offseason trading away John Wall and bringing in Eric Gordon (33ppg), Trae Young (Great young point guard) and Dwyane Dedmon. Also 'saved' Nikola Vucevic (from myself) who had a career year.

58-24 record (2nd best in the league), with my best player missing 25 games, had three players average over 27ppg (new record?) all while staying under the luxury tax (I know that's a choice but still hinders you from winning).

Made some trades, my team did pretty well and won our division despite some untimely injuries.
