For divisions, wild card, and playoffs.  Let's predict now that most FA agents have been picked up, the season is almost underway and baseball is soon to begin.  We can look back at this and see where we rank (too bad we can't give prizes to the closest).  But I like the idea of prizes if we all chip in something and winner takes all (probably not going to happen, just an idea).  My predictions:

AL East
1. Yankess
2. Red Sox (1st wild card)
3. Blue Jasys
4. Orioles
5. Rays
(I think it will be closer than most think.  I think Red Sox / Yankees within 1 or 2 games of each other)

AL Central
1. Indians
2. Twins (2nd wild card)
3. Royals
4. Tigers
5. White Sox
(3 through 5 pretty much interchangeable)

AL West
1. Astros
2. Angels
3. Mariners
4. Rangers
5. A's

NL East
1. Nationals
2. Mets
3. Phillies
4. Braves
5. Marlins

NL Central
1. Cubs
2. Brewers (1st wild card)
3. Cardinals
4. Reds
5. Pirates
(4 and 5 could be switched)

NL West
1. Dodgers
2. Giants (2nd wild card)
3. Diamondbacks
4. Rockies
5. Padres
(Going to take a lot of heat for putting Giants over Diamondbacks but I honestly think they are being way overlooked)

Playoffs
wild card AL: Red Sox over twins
wild card NL: Giants over Brewers

AL Division: Yankees over Red Sox in 5
AL Division: Astros over Indians in 5
NL Division: Dodgers over Giants in 5
NL Division: Cubs over Nats in 5

AL Championship: Yankees over Astros in 6
NL Division: Cubs over Dodgers in 5

World Series: Yankees over Cubs in 5

Gee, I wonder what team this guy likes.

You do realize division series are 5 games, not 7, right?

In all honesty, I seriously doubt the Astros repeat.  The chances are so slim, even if they are one of the best teams (and notice I said "one of").,

I think the Braves have one more 70ish win season in them before they take their big step forward. They have been saving and prepping for this next off-season's FA-magedon. That trade they made this off-season was a good one for them to get out from under Kemp and his contract
