I think it would be redundant to trade someone like brown or taytum for butler when they could easily have the potential to be better than Butler long term. I would try to trade for AD before I do butler.

were adding two All Stars to a team that made it to Game 7 of the ECF; its not like were not talented enough

Jimmy is a great defender, but Jaylen is a great defender in his own. Plus in todays league, teams just switch to create matchups anyways, so it doesnt matter really.

Boston replacing Jaylen with Butler doesnt increase our chances of winning a title, and it just worsens our depth

This game of who is better or worse doesnt always work

Lakers in 2004 had that superteam when they even added Karl and Gary and Pistons took em down as clear underdogs

I remember they were getting crowned as champions before the season even started (same as gsw now)

Anything can happen man, but if teams have this kind of mentality and dont go out and compete, then yea gsw will blow em all out. Gotta go compete
