Bosox how come every NBA analyst is saying it will be very hard for the Celtics to aquire Kawhi, when you said it would be easy with like a package of 4 players. Do salaries actually not match?
when did i say its easy?

were not moving tatum period, and jaylen wont go without an extension for kawhi in place. and the spurs shouldnt send him here for anything less than one of those 2

now can i make a trade work fiscally that sends him here without those 2? sure. but its not going to go down because the lakers and sixers offer better packages

Well you said like Jaylen, Rozier, Nader, Yabusle or something around that works money wise. Which wouldn't be a bad deal for the Spurs, when you add in some picks obviously.

So i'm just wondering why nearly every NBA analyst is saying how it will be super tricky to get Kawhi salary-wise when you made it seem simple.

1. NBA analysts arent smart with the CBA
2. Boston isnt moving Brown; thats why talks with San An arent progressing

Not even Danny Leroux? Or Lowe? They seem pretty good on the CBA.

And yeah I don't blame them for not putting Brown in there.

I mean its simple for the Knicks to get move salary for Lebron, move Noah and THJ

Boston has the salary pieces to move to get Kawhi, but its not happening. Thats my point

Right, which I get your point. But it seems most CBA experts are saying the salary will be very very hard to do. That's my point.

But yeah Boston wouldn't be smart to offer much unless Kawhi says he'd sign long term, and even if he says that, I'd still prefer to keep Brown.

I'm with you on that. I say keep those young guys together and see what they can do with a healthy team next year.

And if spurs would take jaylen +

You do that every time

Even if youre scared that kawhi might walk. Gotta have balls

Look at Presti. Pulled the trigged on PG knowing he might lose him and now things might work out

Not to mention the celtics are in the east and theyd have an easy ass road to the finals. Kawhi wants to win id imagine and playing for the celtics is sick so he might even re up if Kyrie does too
