To get reps and get ready for the season. Some of Toronto's played in the 2nd half too.

Not really it was mostly the bench + JV that really got 20+ mins of pt.

You can play in the 2nd half without getting 20+ minutes.
 
Ibaka played in the 2nd half, JV, Green...etc.

Doesn't have to worry about not rebounding or shooting on the catch for numbers (Russ)

Well Nurse is still experimenting, but I would assume that he's going to avoid an Ibaka/JV pairing as much as possible. And I think the SG position is still up for grabs, so Green is still far from a lock.

Yeah I wouldn't think he'd want to go Ibaka and JV at the same time, especially since he wants Ibaka to play closer to the basket.
 
I wouldn't call Green far from a lock. Probably out of him OG and maybeeee Miles.

raptors have too many good bench players. They need to share some with the league.
