Hood has been a restricted free agent this offseason.
Hood will be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

Just bad management there. Going to Cleveland killed his value. I heard he wanted around 10m and the Cavs weren't going to do that. Tried to get a sign and trade but couldn't find a deal.
 
Now he's getting $3.4m for 1 year in hopes he can turn around his value and get a payday next offseason.

They were talking about AD trades

An interesting one thrown out was Atlanta

Trae, Collins and 2 firsts

The guy's reasoning was no free agent will look at Atlanta. Their rebuild will take a while. But with AD, he's forced to talk to you and you're probably more likely to get a free agent

It's interesting. Especially if Boston or the Lakers don't give up brown and Tatum, or Ingram and ball or kuzma


He also said it's why he liked the Toronto trade. Kawhi wasnt going to talk to Toronto at all. But now he's forced to because he's in the organization

I feel the same way. Love the kawhi trade and yeah, teams should think about making uncomfortable moves


But also I like randle and think new Orleans could be alright this year
