Btw

Will this be the season where we can finally admit bulls won the butler trade?

I don't think that trade has a winner

Lauri will go off
Same with Lavine
If Kris does too then bulls won considering Dunn was a “throw in”

I dont get how

If Lauri turns into a star and Lavine Dunn turn into borderline all stars, theres only one clear winner here

I love jimmy and he holds a ton of value to me but the overall value of Lauri Lavine Dunn just favors the Bulls as winners of the trade

it all rides in lauri. dunn is what he is. lavine = kat imo. their talent is on the same level. i do thin lauri will be that guy tho. he fits the "new" nba and then some. great player...

maybe im bias because i stroke with him in 2k ‍♂

There's really no way to accurately judge the Bulls core at this point.

Dunn, Lavine and Markkannen only played like 10 games together all season.  Dunn's early success came before Lavine was ready, and Dunn got concussed right around the time Lavine finally started to hit his stride.  Hell, Lavine was still only 10-12 months removed from ACL surgery anyways.  The magic number for ACL recovery is around 18 months, and he'll be over that once the season tips off.

The point is, we've seen almost none of what should be the best version of this team.

Playoffs is highly optimistic, but they should be entertaining as hell.
