Haha yeah DWill was really good. Just injuries started to slow him down quick.
Once he lost his explosion to the rack, and his hops were gone, he was a shell of himself. But in his Utah and early Nets days, he was amazing.

Bosox, im not trolling
Yes you are

Philly adds Markelle Fultz, Boston adds Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving to a series that Boston won in 5 games. In what universe is Philly better than Boston?

Your literal only argument that you think Boston wont be the best team is that there will be ego issues that will derail the team. Literally if Terry and Morris accept their role in play to win a title, there wont be any issue at all. They are all bought in to the Brad Stevens system

Boston will be a top 3 seed no matter what. Would being a #3 seed be underachieving for them? Yes, but thats not a bad place to be in haha.

Unless they were intentionally taking it easy (like playing Kyrie < 30min) then yes its underacheving

but for these celtics it doesnt really matter until the postseason. anything short of making the ECF is a failure

Based on the way youre talking, losing him the ECF should be a huge failure too?

Youre shitting on the sixers like they arent on your level but its not finals or bust for you guys?

Interesting. So basically you’re worried

I think the Sixers are good (I just listed Embiid as my MVP choice) but they simply arent on our level unless Fultz takes a massive jump and Simmons learns to shoot.

I guess its Finals or bust then? I just dont like putting that strong ultimatums out there, but yeah Boston should be able to beat every team in the East

I still think Toronto will be scary good. A hopefully fully healthy/motivated Kawhi, their youth continues to develop. Could be nasty.

Philly losing to them in the playoffs was a fluke

A little off the current topic, but I also see the Spurs having a pretty good year. I think Pop will do wonders with DeRozan and Poeltl. Another year of development for Murray, they could be sneaky good like they used to be.

I like Lonnie too

Spurs should be better. I think they might be the best of the third tier

Tiers:

1. Warriors

2. Rockets

3. OKC, Utah, Spurs, wolves, nuggets, pels, Lakers (no particular order)

4. Could be in tier 3 maybe: blazers

5. grizzlies could be tier 3 but could also be dallas

6. Mavs

7. Kings and suns

I agree with that, but possibly adding memphis to tier 3. If they have a fully healthy year of Conley and Gasol, they could make some noise, like they used to.

Thunder, Spurs and Jazz I would also bump up into tier 2 or 2.5.

I wouldn't put them with Houston off the bat

They could join though or Houston could fall back.

I think Houston is clearly the 2nd best in the west though

Also I forgot the clippers lol. They're not gonna be good
