Also i'm apart of this site called NBA Fan Forum, where the NBA sends out surveys all the time about things they are thinking about/want to get the fans perspective on.
And today it was about re-doing the playoffs.
3 options;
1. Keep it the same.
2. Reseed 1-4 before the conference finals. So last year it would have been Rockets vs Cavs and Celtics vs Warriors, winners meet in the finals
3. Top 16 teams are in playoffs. This means you'll get cross country matchups in the first round.
I liked option 2 the best IMO.
That would be my last choice. I think cross country round 1 matchups would be brutal.Mexi said:Im very down for top 16 in the playoffs

Bingo. There is a huge lack of parity across the whole NBA. Like teams that can contend next season are probably GSW, HOU, BOS, OKC maybe, PHI...etc.CameronCrazy06 said:It's not about feeling bad. For me it'd water down the product.
Plus, the problem isn't an East vs. West problem, it's a competitive balance problem in general. 23 ish franchises don't have any chance of contending
