Okc runs 38% of live rebounds in transition when Westbrook is on the court

Which would rank 2nd in the NBA

When hes on the bench, it drops to 22%. 2nd to last in the league

But keep ripping Russ for rebounding in this up tempo, up and down era when hes one of the fastest players in the league and happens to be a great rebounding guard too

But I think thats fine because when Russ grabs them he's already down at the other basket. If Adams gets it (which he still gets a ton) he just waits to pass it off to someone. Also Adams is one of my favorite players in the league.

Last summer he had a baby, had a knee problem, was getting it drained for close to half a season, and had to get used to playing with melo and pg, deffering too a lot the first few months

That resulted in him having a rough rough first month or so

People dont realize how good he was remainding of the season, averaging 27/10/10 on 49%

This summer is DIFFERENT. All the FA bullshit is out the way, the roster is set. Also he can actually go full beast mode all summer bc hes healthy

I think Westbrook is about to have a monster season

Yup, people dont realize this bc they dont watch haha. Adams get down the floor so many times before everyone is even down there and gets so many easy baskets from Russ

When russ gets the rebound, everyone is already running down the floor. It just helps the overall transition. Numbers dont lie

Yeah thats why I wonder how long he can keep all that up. He's not human so probably a long time. But gotta think that playstyle will wear down quicker than others.
