This is a bizarre trade.
 
 A one year Kawhi rental keeps Toronto in position to make a finals run before they go into a full rebuild.
 
The Spurs inherit a one dimensional scorer that can't shoot or play defense for 27+ million for the next three years.
 
...and neither player wants to play for either team.
 
It's kind of a sneaky salary dump for Toronto.
