I might go out of my way to stream this Eagles game tonight. Foles and Wentz aren't playing and they have no real interesting rookies or free agent signings. And it's a week one preseason game.

First of all, I really hope Eli comes to  play..I understand he's getting pressure from the o-line, but he's still throwing some terrible shit. Not happy with Davis Webb at all right now, Lauletta looked poised IMO, but he's slow to release the ball. Wasn't crazy about the secondary either, but I liked some of the rush that I saw.

I can't wait to see what they do next week. I'm sort of glad they have preseason to work this shit out.

I actually liked Wentz, I just didn't want the Eagles to be the team to take the risk on him because he had a chance of busting. I changed my tune after pretty quickly after he was actually good in those first three games and saw that he landed in an awesome situation coaching wise with Flip, Reich, and Pederson.
 
I was absolutely wrong on the Pederson hire though, but so was everyone else so I don't feel that bad.
 
I also repeatedly bashed Nick Foles during his first stint, wanted no part of Derek Barnett, and defended the LeSean trade so my track record with Eagles takes is pretty shit. Winning a Super Bowl killed all of my pessimism though, so maybe my takes will get better lol
