Week 2 preseason is the worst. Theres nobody relevant playing in these games. Its nice to see Oaklands defense doing well, but its against second string competition so whats it count for?

It's hard to have any real takeaways when neither team is gameplanning for one another, and when teams are sitting a lot of their starters. Defenses are usually ahead of offenses at this point too, so it's easy to get misled by a good defensive performance. 
 
The main thing that always stands out to me when watching the second halves of these games is how much more depth there is on the defensive line compared to the offensive line league wide. These second and third string d-linemen just feast on the backup o-linemen.

Yeah it seems every good team has 3-4 good OLineman then 1-2 respectable backups, who play multiple positions well but not enough to be a starter.

Whereas each team has 2-4 pass rush specialists, and a good mix of DT/NT depth to keep a solid rotation.

Im watching the secondary of Oakland most, because that and our LB play have been our Achilles heel. If our secondary could cover for another second or two, our DL could create more pressure and would lead to more sacks.

I like what Ive seen from Melvin, Gilchrist should be a solid slot type to replace Carrie. Im excited to see what the real squad looks like come the start of the season.

Tom Brady played most the game. There still are several a lot of position battles going on too.

The Colts have the least talented roster in the league.
 
I think them and the Dolphins are gonna battle for the #1 pick this year.

Mobile rookie QBs usually play poorly in preseason. Cam and Watson both looked dreadful.

He's getting out on some runs now. But would be nice to see some nice plays through the air.

Yeah they need RB help badly but not sure he'll do much of anything with them.

They should trade for DeAndre Washington. Conditional 7th that could become a 6th if he plays X amount of snaps, or they keep their 7th if they cut him before the season.

Oakland has a nice stable now, whether or not Martin comes back to life here I think Lynch, Warren and Richard is solid. Warren will outproduce Richard and Washington both if given the opportunity, kid looks like a beast.
