One of my hottest takes here, but here we go:

With injuries to Kyrie and Hayward, Boston knew they stood zero chance to beat the West. But also if Lebron didnt make the Finals, it would give him a real opportunity to leave Cleveland and go to a stronger contender (Philly, Houston, etc)

Boston let the Cavs win this year so James stays with Cleveland, so theyll have an easier chance to win the Finals next year

Feels like this is the last time both these teams will be meeting in the finals

Is the NBA still broken when Houston was one turd quarter away from beating Golden State?

Or should we look to dissolve the Rockets

They'd be stupid not to run this squad again next season.

I mean, they were a couple of Warriors blunders away from losing this series in five, but they clearly have what it takes to beat the Warriors, with or without Lebron.

Wonder if it's possible for them to bring in Tyreke Evans.  He'd be dope on that team.

LeBron has no reason to leave Cleveland. People are acting like his greatest achievement is taking this team to the finals (despite the fact that the 2007 team was easily worse). Literally no pressure if he stays.

Well, the only reason to leave is if he actually wants to win a championship because that isn't happening in Cleveland. That's just the truth. Going to philly, LA, or even Houston would give him at least a chance at winning another one. the grass isn't always greener on the other side, but when the grass is as bad as it is in Cleveland you really have no choice but to go somewhere else.

Injuries killed  the Rockets in the end. They could have beaten this Warriors team. But i think they were the only team in the league that could have this year.

Funny how so many people are forgetting that iggy was hurt

Like Kerr said, this series woulda been over in 5 if Iggy was there and Kerr didnt have to play Looney, DWest. Cook etc so much

Don't worry, your 5% MJ post will live on forever.

As long as Jaylen Brown is still in the league, bosox will not be forgotten.

Its also funny how he says the Celtics knew they had no chance against the West, yet definitely wouldve found a way to pick the Celtics had they made it

Ok seriously

How could Cleveland win?

If Houston hit their 3s they win. Cleveland's defense is better without love but there CELTICS are worse offensively than gsw

Cleveland missed a lot of 3s too. They have like a 10% chance of winning this series

Luc isnt as important as Iggy. And if hes washed to you, then you’re just really in denial

All those times yall isoed on david west looney cook etc, and purposely switched on the 5th player, you wouldnt have been able to do that with Iggy on the floor

The warriors become that much better defensively with Iggy on the floor. Then they can switch absolutely everything

You know this, dont act wild
