You can say Tatum led them if you want to. But Horford and Rozier have been their two best players in the playoffs, and its not even that close.Mexi said:Tatum leading a team to the ecf shouldn't be ignored
He's going to be a superstar. These playoffs have me believing. And I've always loved jaylen. Even thought he'd be better. Not anymore
What a tandem. Best young wing tandem since....????
but we can't ignore Russ and harden came off the bench cause Brooks was a dumbassPaulius said:KD Harden?
McGrady came off the bench a lot in Toronto tooMexi said:but we can't ignore Russ and harden came off the bench cause Brooks was a dumbass
true but James was still part of a big 3CameronCrazy06 said:McGrady came off the bench a lot in Toronto too
it's on the ownerCameronCrazy06 said:The Sonics/Thunder drafted as well as you could hope for for three years in a row and they squandered it. Shame
They definitely count. Its not like Brown/Tatum is some block that the Celtics have been planning on building around. Neither one is even a top 3 player on the team as is if everyone is healthy. Plus we know their names have floated around in trades.Mexi said:true but James was still part of a big 3
I guess KD and James can count????
I'm just really fascinated by the Celtics
1. Smart is a free agent and every Boston fan loves him. Will he stay?
2. What does that mean for rozier? Will he be moved before free agency. Kinda reminds me of bledsoe and the clips
3. What about Kyrie? They made the ecf without him. Tatum and brown will continue to improve and rozier so far has looked capable of being a starter. Are they going to give Kyrie his huge contract?
4. Hayward is great and a star I know, and every team would love to have more talent. However, seeing the progression Brown and Tatum have made makes that mega Hayward deal look like a luxury they don't really need. Wonder if knowing what we do today if they wish they didn't have that on the books
Well people make mistakes and learn from it, youd hopeMexi said:it's on the owner
Now they expect him to give Paul George is deal after giving Adams his?
If George stays, Adams is gone
ainge drafted them before kyrie and hayward were acquiredCameronCrazy06 said:They definitely count. Its not like Brown/Tatum is some block that the Celtics have been planning on building around. Kyrie was a surprise. But this Hayward thing had been rumored for a while. You know that. And before that, it was Durant, Blake Griffin, etc. They always had cap room and planned to use it. Plus like I said, both players, whether it be as a player or as the pick used to draft them, were dangled in trades.Mexi said:ainge drafted them before kyrie and hayward were acquired
Master plan is to let them grow and they take the reigns when ky and hayward start to decline
But tatum will be a star before that. And brown is close (I consider them both stars currently, but I'm very liberal with "star")
Hes been their third best player in the playoffs!Mexi said:Playoff Tatum is their go-to guy and hes averaging like 20 a game. Hes a star
