Trout deserves MVP every year anyway. There may be one year of his career in question, but he puts up MVP numbers every year.

10-day DL.  Possibly headed for Tommy John.  This would not be good news for the Angels.  They are playing very well this season and he has been a huge part of their success.  He could possibly be back as a hitter at the start of spring training next year, but would not be ready to pitch until at least August next season.
