Why not?  Even writers make predictions before the season starts.  
 
If we made no predictions, there'd be little discussion.  Like I said "Sports Dictatorship."

Not sure it was the pitching.  The weather was horrible.  Just glad everyone came out healthy.  Kudos to the training staffs of both teams.  It would have been really easy to blow out a hamstring or a groin muscle.  The pitchers could have easily torn up their elbows or shoulders.

Rightfully so. I could be completely wrong come end of the year, I'm just making my prediction that extra players does not always create depth.

Yet they're like who cares because the Mets are winning, Harper isn't.
 
As good as Harper is, he's overrated.  More hype than he can handle.  Trout is better.

I don't know... I'm just sick of hearing Harper is the best player on the planet because he's not.
 
He's been over-hyped since he had his first at bat and he really only had one big season in 2015.  Every other season has been great, but does not amount to the hype.  He should be hitting 40 homeruns a year for the hype he gets and he's only done this once.
 
They make a big deal out of a broken bat homerun?  I mean, c'mon, it's not that special to hit a homerun hard.  It's special to hit 40 to 60 homeruns consistently each season with a high average and stolen bases.

I never said he was better than Trout or that anyone said he was better than Trout... here goes the whole "blow it out of proportion thing again."
 
Let me put it in fine print because someone will twist my words:
 
I think Harper is way more over-hyped than Trout.  Over-hyped does not mean he's better by any means or even implies that I thought someone said he was better.  It just means he is talked about more for his success than he is worth (saying in terms of himself and not a comparison).
