Haha honestly I prefer him to be traded now. Even if its to the Lakers. I love trades and the league mixing up. I don't like the lakers sure but I don't care about that.
 
But just think about it from the Pels standpoint. Doing this trade now is not a good option. The Lakers can still offer in July and possibly get him. Boston could possibly offer. They could possibly be offered the #1 pick or #2 or #3 although not sure they'd do it for anything but the #1 +
 
The only bad part is that's a lot of IFs

One thing theyre legitimately worried about, and this goes for the three most likely teams (Boston, NY, LA) is that they have another Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu, and Chris Kaman issue on their hands. Those three guys hated being traded to New Orleans and I know of Gordon and Kaman purposely sabotaging their careers because they were unhappy. The stories Ive heard are insane. Theyre worried that could repeat itself with guys from those markets. They arent worried about that with rookies though.
