I want Zion in Washington pretty badly. I'd jump on the bandwagon for sure.

I live here now and work across the street from the arena. I grew up in MD so they were always technically the local team but I only really fucked with them when MJ was here and I guess a bit of the Arenas era.

You dont just pass on a talent like Zions

He has the it

Barrett has a lot of work to do
Ja over him without a doubt too

Barrett aint going over Zion, brotha
Ive seen first hand what talented bigs do for you in the NBA. Im not going to argue that those guys are better or more sure things than Zion, and to make it all clear I LOVE Zion. But you win on the perimeter in the NBA. Thats why I would take those two over Zion.

Zion will be the next point forward imo
Has all the tools

Plus his perimeter defense is very underrated
Lateral movement so quick

It works out very easily actually

Boston cant trade for Davis until Kyrie opts out of his contract. Wyc and Danny have said theyve heard nothing contrary to Kyrie opting out to sign a long term deal with Boston.

If Kyrie walks, Boston wont trade for Davis wed just build around Tatum & Jaylen. And if Kyrie re-signs, we do the trade.

I'd get more behind either guy (Barrett or Morant) being a better prospect than Zion if either guy had a good three point shot. Barrett especially needs a lot of work.

I like Morant more than Barrett, admittedly. I just dont think you can win in the NBA with bigs leading your team. Match Zion with an alpha wing, absolutely. But I wouldnt want him leading my team.

I think it's ignorant to call Zion a big. He can and does play on the perimeter.

Love Morant
Said hes the next big thing

But CC makes a good point

Hes more of a Westbrook type than Steph
If he had a 3ball like Stephs, you can def rock with him as a first pick

But its hard to win these days with point guards who cant really shoot tbh

Much easier than a big leading your team, i agree there

A big has always needed another alpha guard though, thats no secret. Think about Kareem, thats why i cant ever put him over Magic bc Magic was the engine

Blake now or blake in college never this good defensively

Blake now facilitates better but thats just for now

Old blake does have similarities though

I would've said that Blake in college and Zion in college offensively are pretty similar, but Zion's shot is further along than Blake's was. But that's where the comparisons stop. Zion is godly defensively, at least at the college level. Watch this:

And that's just guarding the perimeter. His shot blocking ability is also insane. He's LeBron-esque at the chase downs, maybe even better. And he's a good shot blocker in the half court offense too.
