AD to celtics for sure

Unless he demands a trade NOW

Pelicans will take Celtics young guys over LA kids

or LA

but yea
Dude who has inside sources says he would put money on AD being in Boston or Philly next season, with Boston being the heavy favorite.

it all really depends whats on the table

if tatum is "untouchable", then I think LA jumps our package (esp with the Kings pick diminished in value). I don't see Philly coming close, unless they dump Simmons+Fultz which I'd be very surprised if they did.

He's def gone and ive been saying it for a long time now

No matter how you feel about Tatum, you move him 10 times out of 10 for a guy like AD.

That  being said, I've never been nearly as high on Tatum as most seem to be.  Especially the people calling him a future MVP last year.

It also depends on what the Pelicans are looking for (now versus future), but here's the break down of the financials:

• Anthony Davis '19-20 Salary: $27,093,019
• Minimum salary needed: $21,594,416
• Minimum salary needed with trade kicker activated: $24,845,578
• Maximum salary needed: $33,966,273
• Maximum salary needed with trade kicker activated: $39,046,214

Boston Active Contracts:
• Gordon Hayward: $32,700,690
• Marcus Smart: $12,553,471
• Jayson Tatum: $7,830,000
• Jaylen Brown: $6,534,829
• Guershon Yabusele: $3,117,240
• Robert Williams: $1,937,520
• Semi Ojeleye: $1,618,520

Boston also has FA Bird Rights to Terry Rozier, Marcus Morris, Al Horford, Aron Baynes, Daniel Theis, and of course Kyrie Irving.

The Celtics can move Tatum, Smart, Yabusele, and the Kings 1st for Davis and the deal goes thru. If he insists his kicker, throw in Sleepy Williams.
Likewise, Boston can sub in Jaylen+Sleepy for Tatum and it works financially (this is the package that I assume Ainge wants to do)

The FAs is where it becomes interesting though. Morris will demand a large contract with his current play, but being a UFA hurts Boston's ability to flip him. That said, if New Orleans is in the mix for Morris (or Rozier), they can be included in the deal.

I also do think Ainge tries to keep Smart as much as possible, because he's proven to succeed as a role player (which you need with superstars).

Yeah we got two types of people.

People who drive crazy, and people who forget how to drive when the weather changes.

Ayyy at least it's someone actually older than him!! Hahaha

But really Bogi is such a good complete player. High basketball IQ, even runs the point some points during games. Shot selection can betray him but he can score from anywhere on the floor.

Buddy is lights out but is really fueled by confidence and emotion. Has looked terribly off the last two games after being as hot as he's been. Even got benched down the stretch last night after a bad defensive lapse (he couldn't buy a shot either and Shumpert was scorching hot) which goes to show you how his head can take him out of games when his shot isn't falling.

Love them both, need them both. I would agree that Bogi is the more all-around polished player, which isn't all that surprising with his professional background.

From everything hes said it doesnt sound like Tatum is untouchable, and he would be the Pels most desired part of the deal. The frameworks he floated around were always AD and Solomon Hill for Gordon Hayward and/or Brown and a ton of picks or Tatum and a pick or two.

He also said if Philly could convince Davis to sign long term, they would probably pick AD over Simmons.
