When you lack leadership and defensive effort in your #1 option, there will always be seasons like this. James Harden is never going to win a championship if he's the #1 option.

Thats because with CP3 and Harden they are "supposed to win." But they aren't. So yeah people will always talk about that.

Phoenix is a young team. Guys keep missing games (Booker, Warren), they don't have a PG, their effort seems to lack a lot. Thats probably why the changes to the lineup. 
 
Hard to say on James Jones just yet, he hasn't done much to really rate his GM abilities yet.
