CC, bro

We’ve watched enough basketball to know that its not all about stats

Come on. It doesnt tell the whole story

Look at wiggins 3rd year
24 a game

So what though
But the thing is everybody saw that all Wiggins did was score. His rebounding numbers were shit, his passing numbers were shit, his defensive metrics were shit. Ingram is already a better rebounder and showed a great ability to pass the ball last season (hasn't been able to showcase it as much playing LeBron ball) and his defensive metrics are much better than Wiggins'.

I honestly think him getting traded to a team where he could get the keys would be the best thing to happen to him

I was even saying a few days ago that i have a feeling these kids will go off wherever they end up at next

Chip on the shoulder type of shit

But how much longer we giving him? We will not have this convo until then
I've said all along that I don't think he fits next to LeBron. If he gets traded, I'd give him a full season or so in the new spot before I jumped to any conclusions on him.

You’re the one who loves Nash iirc, right?

And say that he deserved those mvps, yea?

Dude i was just thinking

So imagine Harden having the season that he’s having right
Historic game after historic game right
For sure MVP type shit

And then a fricking 16/10 guy with no defense coming in and robbing him from the MVP

Think about where im going with this

I get where you're going with that, and Nash winning MVP's is a different debate, but just to be clear, he was 19-12 or so not 16-10

Like not PG coming in a robbing him

Not Steph with his 25/6 and nice splits

But a fricking 16/10 guy on nice splits

@MEXIMUS HOW WOULD YOU FEEL

I think Nash deserved his MVPs. He averaged good numbers and was one of the top teams in the league if I recall correctly.

Do you not remember what Kobe was doing the year he averaged 35?

It was some Harden shit but even on another tier

9 straight 40’s , 5 straight 50’s with 2 60’s included
62 in 3 quarters
81 vs raptors

Imagine a player doing that these days. And kobe did it in a not so offensive friendly era where it was mostly midrange and layups

Just think about it

Well there's plenty of people that argue CP3 should've won MVP the one year Kobe actually won it haha

Him or KG

Bc they fucked up the rotation the two years before haha

Chris did have an awesome season in 08 for sure but thats when Kobe was “due”

It got all fucked

Wow Kobe didn't even finish top 3 in MVP voting that year he averaged 35 haha

I don't think that would happen in this era

Kobe was just a complete chucker that year with 35. He probably almost averaged 35 shots a game at that time too.

And yeah scoring has become the league. If someone averaged 35ppg now, with 0 apg 0 rpg 0 spg...etc they'd still win.

You'd chuck too if your starting lineup was Smush Parker, Lamar Odom, Brian Cook/Kwame Brown, and Chris Mihm

Kobe shot 45% from the field that year, a higher percentage than Harden is shooting this year despite 3 extra attempts per game.

During his nine-game streak, Kobe averaged 44.0 points per game, topping the 41.6 average of Jordan’s nine-game streak. Kobe’s two 50-point games during the streak helped boost his average. The Lakers went 7-2 (.778) during Kobe’s streak and would go on to finish the season 50-32 (.610).

Kobe’s average stat line during his nine-game 40-point streak:

Games: 9
Minutes: 41.0
Points: 44.0
Rebounds: 5.2
Assists: 3.4
Steals: 2.6
Blocks: 0.9
Field Goal %: 49.6%
3-Point %: 47.1%
Free Throw %: 83.2%
Plus/Minus: Plus-11.2

50 point game streak:

- 65 points (23-of-39 shooting, 8-of-12 on threes), seven rebounds, three assists, three steals

- 50 points (17-of-35 shooting, 4-of-9 on threes), six rebounds, three assists, three steals

- 60 points (20-of-37 shooting, three-of-seven on threes, 17-of-18 from the line), five rebounds, four assists

- 50 points (16-of-29 shooting, 2-of-5 on threes, 16-of-16 on free throws), seven rebounds, one assist

62 in 3 Qs vs Dallas

62/8/0 on 18-31 shots , 58%

81 vs Raptors

81/6/2 on 28/46 shot, 61%

Tell me all this isnt fucking insane and not MVP worthy. And these are just the historic runs. Add a bunch of other big games

Get the bum team to 50-32 record and have nash come in wth his 19-12 and steal the mvp bc his team had more wins and he had great teammates

Tell me again how Nash deserved it
