Shrug
I wont even campaign. He probably wont finish top 3. Most hated player ever?
Kobe and AI had detractors but also had a lot of fanfare

Why are you still on mvp hype when you should be on ring hype?

Fuck mvps if you already got one

Its about winning a ring now and playing like this in the playoffs for once

But we’ve all seen this before. And we all know whats gonn happen in the playoffs

“Ran out of gas” excuses floatin in

Would have been a weird situation in SAC I feel like.

Marvin was and is the better fit for us.

But early on looks like Luka could be one of those guys you look back and can't believe passing on.

im going to use CCs words that hes used against me countless times

drafting for fit is not what you should be doing. kings best player is fox and they dont need to draft a point guard, for sure. but fox isnt a game changer like luka is.

like last year we were all saying DSJ is a potential stud. Now hes in trade talk, because hes irrelevant compared to Luka.

take the guy who will have the best career

Bosox i gotta give you some credit

Not fully but you had the right idea

I was just thinking how Philly needs to do something to get even better bc imo they a tier below raptors boston

Gotta trade Ben Simmons. Hes a huge liability despite how good he is

You did say Kemba which would be alright but im thinking Lillard

You really don't think Fox is a game changer? As someone who gets to watch him night in and out he is an electric factory. He's taken a huge step forward already and just turned 20 this month.

Beyond just the skill he's has taken control of that team and become a leader at such a young age. Basically a full year from being able to legally drink and he has everyone in that locker room looking to him to make them go.

I'm obviously biased but Fox is gonna be a special player and plays with the swagger/confidence you need to be a great one in this league.

yea i tried to tell you they were a step behind the two (although butler helps them a lot).

and tbh idk if its better to dump simmons or embiid, but the pairing is not good. embiid has to play a ton on the perimeter, when he wants to be Hakeem down low, and it is obvious when watching Sixers games. He's by far the most talented on the team right now, and gets visibly frustrated when shit stops working offensively as a team.

that said, simmons is seemingly the next generation of the Magic/Lebron lineage as the 6'8"+ point guard. he's a pass first player but his athleticism is always a threat to attack the rim, and once he develops some type of jumper he's going to be filthy. but he almost needs to be the point center rather than point forward to be most effective. Both Lebron and Giannis have shown to be effective with this method -- 4 shooters on the court stretching the court and using their athleticism to iso to the rim. Embiid is not a great 3pt shooter but a great post player, and Joel knows it.

Like a swap of Embiid+Patton for Bradley Beal+Marcus Morris would be incredibly interesting for both teams. For next year, Embiid+Wall together relives Wall's college success and Embiid probably gets featured more offensively. Simmons plays "center" with Beal, Redick, Morris, and Butler stretching the court

i think he can definitely be very good, but not much more than that. luka's gonna be a legitimate superstar

Idk he's putting up 18 with 7.7 assists while leading a King's team many had as the worst in the West to an 19-16 record so far. Has also drastically increased his shooting from last year (.412-.468) from the field and (.307-.393) from three. Free throw stroke could still use some work but he has improved every other facet of his game from his rookie year.

He relies heavily on his speed and athleticism which takes its toll but seems like the sky is the limit for him.

Luka's ceiling is higher and like I said already seems like he's one of those players it's gonna be tough to look back on and remember passing on him but seemed like you were shortchanging my guy De'Aaron a little bit so I had to defend him lol

low ceiling, high floor. nothing wrong with that. his drive is what will determine how much better he'll get, and he's shown that he will improve. this notion that older kids wont get much better is such bs

it kills me
I liked Atlanta
I liked bud

Then they separated for some reason(cause he was too good of a coach and they needed to tank)

Then they draft Utah Trey Burke 2.0 over Luka SMH

These guys haven't had a franchise guy since dominique

he's a great player
I'm not knocking him

His work ethic is upper tier of the whole league. He's an absolute gym rat

Which works against him. It's not like he doesn't work hard. Couple this with his age and hes pretty much at his ceiling
