why would he go to the lakers?
 
if he's taking less money to go elsewhere, he wouldn't just go to some shittier team in the same market. he could go to Miami or Boston, though

That's my hesitation too.
 
Blake would be fantastic in Stevens' offense, but I'm not sure I want to give the guy $137M/4yr when he's played in 66% of the regular season games over the past three years. Plus it'd be a ton of cap invested in two power forwards
