It's crazy to think that Durant, who at worst is the third best player in the entire league, is probably the third most important player on his own team.

The last time I watched an NBA Finals game live, the Cabs were up by 30 before I opened my second beer.

Tonight I've cracked my second beer before tip-off.  Just get a little better at something every day, that's my motto.

i read their tax could go as high as $300M. im still behind on the cap rules so idk if that's right or far from the truth
I'm not sure how he did his math here or what assumptions he made and I don't know enough to check it, but that's the last year of Klay's deal and I doubt Lacob is willing to shell out nearly $400 Million no matter how good they are, even when the cap is under $120 Million

For brief stretches, sure.  Warriors would definitely fare far better in the long run with Durant over Klay, though.

"Rubber Match" doesn't really have the same meaning when one of the teams adds an MVP candidate in his prime

Wow they have that guy to start the Finals?

I thought Michael Buffer only did wrestling, lol.

Also they're guaranteed to play each other for the next two or three years, so it's really not even a rubber match.
