crawling with jaylen and picks

And i dont think theyre going to strike out with whatever they do. Hayward or george or whoever else

Why waste another year waiting for PG? Hayward isn't going to be enough to put them past Lebron. Someone like PG or Butler could be.

except for the fact that paul george is probably cheaper to trade for than butler
There is also a good chance he goes to LA after next season. Butler you are getting at least 2 years, probably 3. Make the trade contingent on him signing an extension and maybe it happens.

Kyrie/cleve was also very rigged

But AD gets the edge since the nba owned the team. (Don't remember if it was sold or still league owned at the time. Point stands)
Dont forget Chicago born D rose to chicago with the bulls having a 1.7% chance to get the first pick

KD should have gone to DC. At least the Conference Finals would have been worth turning the TV on for

Sometimes you have to sacrifice your depth to become good. These players are replacable. Stars like Hayward and Butler can make your bench less important as well as elevate lesser talent.
Look at the random guys the Spurs are playing. The Warriors play Ian Clark and make Javale look like an All-Star.
Look at the old productive veterans the Cavs get for nothing. Extreme example but Miami in 2010 had jack shit around the big three and cruised through the East.

Stars move this league, not bench players.
I agree with the principle idea you're making, but its still a different circumstance. with that Lebron Heat team, it was him Bosh and Wade, along with role players. Those role players were quite interchangable, because there wasnt really any difference between Chalmers and Cole, Battier and Miller, etc

Boston's five would be Horford, Crowder, Hayward, Bradley, and Thomas. You aren't lacking on offensive creation, at all. That Miami team, if one of the big 3 went down it was a huge burden on the other two to carry the team. Boston's already 7th in scoring, and they'd be adding another 20ppg scorer. Sure, it'd be nice to upgrade Crowder to Butler on offense, but is it really worth losing two young guys that will be hitting their peaks when the current group is starting to slow down?

Plus you just saw how ineffective Washington was with no bench. It killed John Wall having to be out there all game, but Jennings fucking sucks. You can have that very talented starting five, and still not be forced to play them 40+ min a game because you have not-awful backups providing meaningful impact

I just think that it's possible to replace these players to a reasonable extent, be it via trades, rookies, the waiver wire or cap exceptions.
Especially if you're a serious contender that has multiple All-Stars which players would want to join. Are you going to get 100% of the impact of role players in their prime from these guys? Maybe not, but maybe 75% which to me is worth getting star players that can win you playoff games.

I've been saying the whole playoff that both teams would be 12-0 going into the Finals. That's why there's no point in really watching. Perhaps the Celtics can steal a game, but we've all known it would be Warriors-Cavs since July 4th last year

Your opinion big guy

If i see two superteams being 12-0 going into the finals, to me, its ruined and not fun at all.

These playoffs have been a joke besides a few games

Finally watched the Zaza/Leonard play. THAT is what people are freaking the fuck out over? Everything happens in a fraction of a second. Clearly not intentional. Obviously not dirty.
