Scary to think that Yankees could still win this division the last week of baseball. They have the easier schedule and don't need to play the Astros in a 4 game series. If we lose the division, it would be a failure.

Jays might actually get a huge haul for JD this offseason if they do decide that he's not worth the extension. Dude's been on a tear since the start of the 2nd half of the season.

The Yanks have had a spark since the season started that we have lacked all year.  
 
If we do win, it will be because of our talent, not because of our will.
 
We play the O's next who we suck against and the Astros later who could easily win 3 or 4 of that 4 game series.  Our bats are cold right now too.

i feel like that's what they would do anyways. the fo seems keen on trying to be competitive while guys like vlad jr., and bo bichette are still developing.
