Yeah Sale isn't winning MVP but he's the clear CY Young favorite

he's the favorite right now but I do think Kluber still has a shot

So I got a notification that Jose Bautista is following me on Twitter, which I thought was pretty awesome.

Then I realized he follows almost 1 million people. Not so awesome anymore.

Only if Sale stops pitching right now for the entire season.  In other words, no shot.

You do realize Sale isn't on the White Sox anymore, right? You can relax your shitty biases

Like, was it going to happen eventually? Was his knee already weak? Or did it seriously just happen on that move?

That sucks. Camargo is a stud.

•Verlander won in 2011 with a 24-5 record, 2.40 ERA, and 250 Ks (and tbh I still dont think he should have won over ellsbury)
•Kershaw won in 2014 with a 21-3 record, 1.77 ERA, and 239 Ks in an uneventful NL season where Kershaw won more due to a lack of competition if anything

Sale prior to tonight is 13-4 with a 2.70 ERA and 216 Ks. If he can get in 9 more starts after today, that will project out to a 19-6 record with 310 Ks.

While a very impressive record, and the clear CY Young favorite, that's still nowhere near good enough for MVP when Altuve is hitting .364 on a probable-100 win team

I know Judge is slumping, but he's still got the best numbers as it stands right now. If he can't pick it back up Altuve is the clear front runner imo
