They just traded their best prospect, plus more (idk what more is I haven't looked deep into the trade)

Like. I hope all these moves are for nothing, I was praying on a Dodgers Nationals rematch because that was a fun series last year. But now the Cubs are a huge problem again.

That's why I wanted Sonny Gray, Yankees didn't even give up that much for him. Especially when you compare it to what the Cubs gave up for Q. Q has a better track record, but both fill top of the rotation holes

Cubs adding Wilson was huge. I hope they pay Wade Davis. Can't afford to trade for bullpen help every deadline. Gonna need to reload on prospects

Austin Barnes is the best backup catcher in the game. Can also play 2b and 3b and has reslly good speed. Slashing .285/.400/.515

Kiké Hernandez plays every position and plays them very well. Had another outfield assist last night, has a few gold glove shortstop plays as well

10 homers, 18 doubles, 2 triples this year. Thats 30 xbh to just 47 singles. Slugging .640 vs lefties

The collision between Yoan Moncada and Willy Garcia yesterday was scary.  I'm just glad Moncada's knee was bent.  Had it been straight, he would likely have torn his ACL and been out for a long time.  Garcia will likely have to pass all the concussion tests before he can play again.  I don't expect either guy to play today, but both should be back in the line up soon.
