I agree. I hate when people go "oh we made the playoffs."

Like I can see it as a stepping stone, but your goal in the long-term should be championship or bust.

6 straight for the Cubs Post-ASB. Team is hitting well, and the last run through the rotation was fantastic

Hopefully they can keep up the hot streak. Already erased 3 games off the Brewers lead

or bust means theres no tomorrow

Think 2008 brewers with CC or A's with shark and lester

The dodgers will still have seager and bellinger and kershaw next year, plus a top farm and grear FO. They are built to sustain success. No down years

facts only

seems like everybody's penciling the dodgers and nats in the nlcs, which is funny since both are habitual chokers. it'll be dbacks vs. whoever wins the central. book it.

With the current record they have, if the Dodgers don't win the World Series, it would be a complete failure.

With breakout years from our rookies chris Taylor, austin barnes and Cody bellinger plus alex wood,
and another strong year from 2nd year player corey seager

and more guys lined up in triple A

alongside another strong year from turner, a puig with his value raised, agon probably retiring

Rich Hill's blisters looking tamed

Its hardly a failure my friend. We'll be back

I swear the Dodgers have been hyped to win it all since like 2008 when they got Manny Ramirez.

And it just hasn't happened. Over and over again

No we sucked in 2008. We had like a 14 game losing streak in august. But the dbacks crazy choked and we got in with a near .500 record

Then in 2009 the Phils were a monster

And lately the cards and cubs just beat the Dodgers

I still prefer him. He's an all or nothing pitcher. At his best, he's better than Porcello. At his worst, he's worse than Porcello.

His career could be at a close though, which is sad, because he was filthy for the Tigers but highly underrated at the time.

A lot of it is me hoping he finds his fountain of good stuff, you know, the one Porcello never had to start. Porcello will never be better than middle of the pack.

Besides, when I mentioned "team" I didn't indicate that to be about one player in particular, but I know so many people like to twist my words and opinions.
