Dodgers have been having their backup OF Brett Eibner throw bullpens

The thinking is he could be a 2 way guy and save their bullpen during blowouts

Eibner has the dodgers longest homer this year at 465. Also was seen as a better pitching prospect during his draft

I think he still has more class than any of those steroid users like Bonds, Clemens, and McGuire.  Honestly, a big mouth is a minor problem compared to these, but so many baseball writers who whoever votes players in are close-minded.

Off field matters too. Thats why rose isnt here. Thats why theres a character clause with voters

Also, hof voters are always dumb. Unless your a slam dunk like rickey, or ripken or gwynn or maddux, you are going to struggle getting in

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but if it doesn't directly impact the game, it's not a factor to me. Players should be awarded for what they do on the field as long as steroids or cheating methods are not involved.

If Ortiz did use steroids outside of Mitchell Report, I would be very disappointed. I'm not ruling it out and not being biased, but it is an elephant in the room.

Maybe class wasn't the right word on my end.

I never cared for Manny Ramirez and look at him in the same light as A-Roid. I'd like to think Ortiz was better than that and only got caught once mistakenly (again, I'm not giving excuses, just hoping that is the case and can run with it until more proof is found otherwise).

Neither of these have been proven and I doubt either of them. I doubt them even less than David Ortiz.

They should just have Price get Tommy John surgery. They're trying to say he will be fine, but he's not as effective. I think he needs it and his doctors are advising against it. By the time he has the surgery, he may miss another whole year.
