My guess is teams are looking at him as a minor league signing.

Lawrie started his career very nicely, but could not make the adjustments once pitchers figured out the holes in his swing.  Defensively, he is adequate.  Offensively, he looks lost at times.  He might benefit from another set of eyes and another voice to get his bat going again.

Maybe as a reclamation project after his arm explodes in the next few years (months)

that can apply to literally all of the pitchers in the big leagues.

Mets are trash and lucky the nl sucks now

Dodgers, cubs and nats will win their divisions

Wild card spots could be any of st louis, giants, mets, possibly pirates, marlins and i have more faith in atlants than Colorado

Familia only suspended 15 games. Phew.
He got off very lucky.  Chapman got a lot longer suspension.
I guess he and his wife cooperated with the MLB and their story was both consistent and credible.

I agree he should have gotten more. At least 30. That way if something else came out (perhaps another prior incident) then it covers MLB's ass.

The Tigers have cut ties with Mark Lowe and Mike Pelfrey this spring. I was fully expecting them both to pitch deep into the season before the front office realized they were sunk cost.

Not sure how the NL sucks

The Cubs and Dodgers are top 3 teams, the Nats and Giants are probably both in the top 7/8.

Giants aren't very good
I expect a big drop off
Age, lack of depth will show
