2015-2016 - 35 games played
2016-2017 - 61 games played
2017-2018 - will be around 62 if he stays healthy all the way thru

Its not injury prone Greg Oden style but its concerning imo
we had a thread going on realgm about this.

this isnt from me, a poster there did this

01/06/2018 Concussion - no big deal
11/28/2017 Sprained Left MCL - it's a sprain, not a complete tear, so fully recoverable
04/21/2017 Broken Toe - no big deal, fully recoverable
12/19/2016 Right Knee Surgery - a concern, probably solid but scar tissue reduces athleticism
12/09/2016 Sore Right Knee - "Sore" is no big deal
04/26/2016 Sore Left Quadriceps - "Sore" is no big deal
01/26/2016 Broken Hand - no big deal, fully recovered
12/26/2015 Torn Left Quad - long time ago, fully recovered
02/08/2015 Staph Infection - no big deal, fully recovered
03/29/2014 Back Spasms - if it hasn't come back since 2014, probably ok but backs can be bad
those arent scary for the most part.

not everyone is a work horse. that doesnt mean theyre prone

Id rather have any one of Dallas' army of little guards than IT

JJ, Yogi, Dennis and of course Seth when healthy

I dont know man, Lebron might start averaging 2.3 points per every 4th quarter if JJ is anywhere around him

Drummond 23/20

The man needs to average 20/20. Hes so good he legitimately could which is scary

Your boy Smart needs to end up on the Grizzlies. Feel like you couldnt be mad at that
lol thats not why i said damnit, but I don't see the need to trade Smart for Reke

---

I understand the concept behind trading Smart right now. If Rozier is consistent like he's been the past two games (not necessarily volume wise but efficiency wise), he's clearly better than Smart and can be that 6th man for the team. Smart's an RFA at season's end, and ownership might not want to pay him a lot when they've got $80M committed to just three other players, and have to fill a full roster. His shooting, while slightly improved, is still the worst non-shooting big in the league (esp with Roberson on IR) and it forces some obstacles on how to attack offensively.

I also understand the concept of getting Tyreke (outside of getting a Celtics jersey with my last name on it). When Rozier is not consistent as a scorer off the bench, the team can't score the basketball at all with Kyrie on the bench. While Hayward will provide that for him eventually, its not happening this year (even if he's healthy they won't try to overextend him). Tyreke's averaging 19.5ppg and it would at least improve our chances of having some scoring with Kyrie on the bench.

---

But the main idea with getting Reke was to put him in the 2nd unit, where we've had Semi Ojeleye at the 3 and he struggles on offense. Trading away Marcus in the deal keeps Ojeleye at the 3, and then all you're doing is sacrificing your 2nd unit defense for a bit more scoring. The team is already like the #4 rated offense when Kyrie's on the floor (iirc) and he should be on the floor often during the playoffs, maybe off for 10min a game on average. I'd rather keep the guy that can at least play elite defense, if both are walking next season anyways.
