if they get keep the possible lottery picks, that team is going to be so stacked.
Eventually have to flip those assets for a star

Thats where AD comes into play

they have star power. adding role players is fine. i really dont think that team needs to add a player like ad. obviously he would make them that much better. but they still have so much potential to get better internally

If theres even a chance, you do whatever you have to do to get a 24 year old superstar, especially when you also already have a 25 year old star on the team

All about star power these days. Jaylen and Tatum are nice but AD is AD

Hope Celtics get the Lakers pick, take Bamba in the draft, move Horford + Tatum + for AD

Kyrie Hayward AD Bamba would be absolutely lit for the next 5-8 years

He will be

Already reports out how Celtics want him and he already went out and said all that he said about NO the other week implying he wants to win with a real team

Matter of time

not necessarily true

both jaylen and jayson show signs of being star players. like I thought I saw it in marcus smart, but i was only the few on that bandwagon, where as most people are seeing that possibility in those two. and they could get the #2-6 pick this year in a draft full of athletic bigs... Bagley? Ayton? Bamba?

by the time that 2021 pick comes, it could be a top 5 pick joining 3 guys entering/entered into their breakout points like where Kyrie, AD and Giannis are at right now. teams are looking for the next OKC Durant/Westbrook/Harden trio and maybe Boston could come close with their Bagley / Tatum / Jaylen package, except they'd be joined by horford (who will surely transition well into being an older big by his current play style), hayward in his mid-prime,  and kyrie entering his Mamba Titles age.

That team is what you want to build for, and trading away pieces of that for someone who might not be able to put you over the top right now is not what is needed. Swapping in this year's roster with Hayward and Davis for Tatum and Horford I doubt would put us any more over the top than we already are for getting a title. Golden State could definitely still beat this team this season and next, because they're really freaking good, but after that the luxury tax will be greater than net profits and they'll absolutely break up the team.

the goal with the celtics is not to overtake these warriors. its to build up so that when the warriors implode and fall, boston has their super team looking over the league while staying well under the luxury tax due to the rookie contracts.

More impressive than Demar's performance.

He did well guarding Giannis though.
