Larry hughes was legit, mo williams was legit, big z was legit, boobie gibson was legit. Gooden was nice back then, varejao too

Obviously not the teams we see now, but times have changed, more superteams. Back then that was a nice team

Nobody? Not even the warriors? FOH

With a closer look, I mentioned how a 4th/5th seed Spurs would play the Warriors in the second line. I still feel they are the best team and the team to beat. We already have one win in Oracle. We and the Pistons are the only teams to do that this season.
 
I know Big Poppa hates the Rockets (and James), but I do feel like this team stacks up well against the Warriors. Tucker and Mbah A Moute add more defensive presence. Watching Chris Paul play is a joy. He is so creative, and good with the ball. And unlike Harden, he rarely turns the ball over. I feel like we have the best chance (right now) of beating the Warriors of any team.

but kobe didnt lose MVP awards because of the rape issue. he was splitting votes when shaq was on his team, and then the lakers just werent good enough of a team to warrant the MVP to him over other guys like nash or dirk.
 
he deserved mvp in 08 for sure and he got it, but 05 is maybe the only year i'd warrant kobe could have been mvp due to the 81 game, and an overall week mvp class in that year (I think Dirk probably should have had it, but you can argue anyone on Dirk, Nash, Kobe, or Lebron)... but it wasnt because of the rape allegations, it was because shaq was the better player
