It's not like it's a binary situation where if they make that call, the Saints win though. Would need to stop Broncos on a game winning drive, and then would need to win in overtime. Their chance of winning was still below 50%

You're right, but I'd take those chances a million times over having absolutely no shot at winning because the league employs inept officials. The fact that they had a chance to make it right, and still didn't, is what really has me irritated though.

Everyone is going nuts over the playcall to throw on 4th -- but I actually think it was the right play. We ran it on 1st 2nd & 3rd and it didn't work. Got a 1v1 iso for Gronk, and if anything it's Gronks fault for initiating contact and getting tangled when he just needed to get on Kam's outside shoulder
