Spending time on a golf course can lead to a lot of hyperbole ("it was this close to going in") and it appears Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump is no exception to that rule. While speaking at a rally in Ambridge, Penn., Trump told a story about Big Ben that sounds superhumanly impossible.

According to a transcript from CBS News' Sopan Deb, Trump took the stage in Pennsylvania and wisely name-checked the Steelers quarterback by calling Ben Roethlisberger "a friend of mine."
Trump then went on to discuss a round he once played with Ben, in which Roethlisberger shanked a ball into a tree and eventually killed the tree.

"We played golf together. He once hit a shot that went dead right into a tree. It was massive tree like this," Trump said, apparently gesturing. "The ball hit the tree so hard I swear I said, 'Ben, within two years, that tree is gonna be dead.' And you know what? Two years later, I should say this because we have -- have a lot of tree lovers here. But two years later, that tree was dead. He is a strong guy and a good guy too. Big Ben."
