If Dallas wins tomorrow, the Redskins control their own destiny... again

Perfect. More false hope.

Miami would be an interesting team if Tannehill was healthy.  Moore has been solid, but I can't see him winning a game in Pittsburgh.

If Dallas wins tonight, and the Redskins beat the Giants next week, the Redskins get the final wild card spot UNLESS the Packers and Lions tie.

If that scenario plays out before the Sunday night game next week, the Packers and Lions both make the playoffs if they tie.  I'd come to some pre-game agreement to finish in a 0-0 tie if I coached those teams.

Its funny to think of, but I think this actually benefits both teams well, aside for the obvious reason

If it comes to the final game under your scenario (plus i think atlanta has to win too), a GB win means they are the 3 seed and host Washington. Granted it wasn't at home, but the Skins smoked GB earlier this season.

If Detroit won they'd be the 4 seed, and host the Giants. I don't think anybody wants to play them tbh

If they tied, Packers still get the 3 seed and host Detroit. IMO for Green Bay i'd rather play Detroit, and if i'm Detroit id personally rather play @GB than hosting the Giants

Unless Seattle loses to the Niners... I think that would be the only way the Packers would play the Lions in that scenario.

Bold take: I think Moore is better than Tannehill
I don't disagree but I don't think either wins in Pittsburgh.

I can't believe we're getting McGloin, Moore, and Savage in Round 1 this year. I can't remember a year with worse Quarterbacks in the playoffs.

I didn't realize how meh the Raiders defense is.

I think McGloin is a solid back up, which shocks me because I thought he had no business being on an NFL roster after watching him at Penn State. Raiders still have a solid run game, good receivers. But yea, their defense aint that good, they're done.

I pretty much think every team in the AFC is bad except New England and KC.

New England's great (obviously), but I feel like they've been in cruise control all year and the right team could take them out. The problem is that I don't think any of these AFC teams are coming into Foxborough and winning. Houston, Miami, and Oakland have bad QB's. KC is the same team that lost to the Patriots last year, Tyreek Hill would have to go off for them to pull off an upset. Pittsburgh has the offense to pull it off, but they've been so hot and cold, it's hard to predict how they're going to play any given week.

Pittsburgh has one win @ Foxboro since 2001, and that was 2008 versus Matt Cassel. Pittsburgh will not beat the Patriots.

KC clearly has the best shot at beating us (praying for them to get that 2 seed) and I'm not sure they really stand too much of a chance. Their run game really isn't strong enough, and outside of last year's Eagles game the Pats have always had a really strong ST unit that would limit Tyreek. Chung can mitigate Kelce as well as anyone else in the league could, and our defense has just been straight up dominant the past few weeks. Not scared of Alex Smith in the slightest.

Dallas and Green Bay will be tough, and I very much don't want the Giants. Anyone else I feel very confident of the Patriots winning

I don't think you can say outright that Pittsburgh can't beat New England because past Pittsburgh teams didn't beat New England
