Longevity matters, and no, he will not have more assits just because he plays longer, he is clearly a better passer/playmaker than MJ.
So no credit for MJ for doing all that he did for way less seasons ? Oh man hes a better passer so thats why hes over MJ?? Come on man i know youre a cavs fan, and you took him back with wide open arms after he shit on your entire state and brought you a ship but come on man you hitting home runs

lets let bron take 30 shots a game
Lmao yea lets. We all saw his shitty ass percentage in the 2015 finals when he took 35+ shots. MJ did it with efficiency. Lebron is nowhere close to an offensive and defensive player that MJ was man yall straight goofin on me here, have to be

I'm not even saying he is better than MJ, nor am I using assists as a sole reason. You literally just insinuated that the only reason he'll have more career assists than MJ is because he'll play longer, and that's simply just false.

Thats fine, bringing up what u brought up about whos gonna be higher on either lists is just pointless and an awful point to try to use that he might surpass MJ.

If overall stats the only thing that matters to you then yea go for it . Even tho mj stats are ridiculous, especially his playoff.

Bron is bigger faster stronger
Better defender. Can guard 4 positions and depending on who is at the 5 he could hold his own

He's a better shooter, passer, finisher

Well two times weve argued mj vs lebron, and twice you brought up the overall stats into it right away, especially his assists/playmaking .

Generally yes, stats play some role when comparing players

Ill give you bigger , cuz hes obv bigger and plays SF , not SG
MJ was still very very strong and athletic so this comparisson is pointless.

"Better defender"... was NEVER the lockdown defender micheal was, never. Please do some serious research and watch his highlights

All nba first defensive teams
Lebron - 5
MJ - 9

Three time steal champion, has 950 more than lebron to this day

Averages the same amount of blocks , 0.8 as your bigger stronger faster guy and still has a 120 more than lebron to this day

Man you know you reachin like mothafucka when you say lebrons a better shooter lmao. Its been a fact his jumpers been broken since his rookie year and his best efficient years were when he played in miami as a 4 and would just score inside non stop

And all this shit and we havent even gotten to playoff performances, playoff chokes, playoff embarrasments, the 'it' factor, 4th quarter performances and so on..

And please lets not forget the new rules that are offensive friendly . Touch fouls , spacing for drives . Mj would average close to 40 in todays day and age

Would be real fun to see the bad boys do lebron the way they did MJ . Real fun

Someone said it the best

Lebron wins the ship for cleveland and everything else is forgotyen? His 2011 disgusting finals forgotten? Series vs boston where he disappeared forgotten? His colluding is forgotten? His choke jobs in the 4th quarter forgotten?

Before theres talks about MJ, let him pass kobe and duncan first.

Some . You said it . His overall stats someday might be higher bc he will have close to 20 seasons under his belt, but the averages still favor MJ, so how do u go around that?

Its more impressive to win more in a short career, than win less in a long career..

13 real seasons , 6 rings , 6fmvp, 5 mvp, 1 dpoy with insane stats . If mj got 33k points or whatever in less seasons, isnt that more impressive than someone getting it in 18-20 seasons?

Stop beating around the bush

Honestly I think defenses are way more sophisticated today.

In the beginning of MJ's career players couldn't even leave their man to help on isos.

Not sure . Bad boys vs MJ all collapsed on MJ inside the painy and knocked his shit up every single time, and thats only one example

Shaq has played with both kobe and lebron and he was just on espn a few weeks ago and was asked whos the best player since mj. He went with kobe.

One can easily argue lebrons better than kobe and me being a huge kobe fan i can say it can easily be argued and thats ok

But to say hes over MJ is just plain disrespectful to MJ man, really is.

Legends been and will say mj over lebron bc its clear as day . The league was tougher, the defense was tougher, he beat so many superstars with great teams on the way to his 6 rings .

Ill end it with this, today as of right now theres just absolutely no way, in 5-7 years once lebrons all said and done, then maybe but he still has lots of work to do.

Mexi let me know when you express your thoughts more widely, be happy to hear your arguments for lebron being better for 2-3 years now
