Lmfao classic job once again of taking literally the least important part of what I'm saying as excuse for bashing my statement. You never fail to disappoint...

I'm not saying he's gonna be fucking chucking up 8 threes a game like Reggie. But the 50/40/90 club, which only features Larry Bird, Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry, should not include a guy who takes one three point shot a game.
If you don't want me picking at your examples, don't give awful examples. If you want to get technical, did Mexi actually say he'd be in the club? Aren't there several guys that have done it that aren't technically in the club? I feel like Jose Calderon did it

The guy shot over 300 mid range jumpers this year at over 50% and made 34% of his threes. Why is it so unthinkable to think he could extend his range? I'm with Mexi on this. 90% of FT will be the hardest part though

This is all still a dumb conversation anyway. He's never going to shoot 90% from the FT line

No, it was you trying to say that he would never shoot 40% from three in a season because Reggie Miller didn't shoot 40% for his career.....

thats not at all what I said though.

Reggie Miller is known as one of the greatest 3pt shooters of all time. Saying Towns would shoot the same percentage as one of the greatest shooters is ridiculous for a guy who made only 30 threes

Luis Scola literally did just that this past year, except he only made 5 the year prior

But this statement is so wrong though! Towns isn't going to be shooting the volume of shots as Miller, nor is he going to be taking threes with the degree of difficulty Miller did. It's going to be all wide-open, spot-up. We're talking about a guy who shot over 50% from mid range this year and developed into a 34% three point shooter in one year after making 2 at Kentucky. There's absolutely no reason why he can't shoot 40% from three.

Why can Luis fucking Scola shoot 40% from three and not him?

Rumor has it that the Warriors are willing to trade Iggy to Cleveland for Shumpert
