A team that needs to hit the cap floor who will get picks as wellnolafan33 said:They have friends, but they aren't going to penalize their team because of a friendship. For example, there is no scenario where a WC team that's contending for a title or a playoff spot is assisting GS in signing Durant. Which bottom dweller is going to be interested in two guys who are on the wrong side of 30 and will walk after the season?
Assuming they renounce the cap holds to Anthony Tolliver and Steve Blake, as well as waive the non-guaranteed contracts of Joel Anthony, Lorenzo Brown, Cameron Baristow, and Darrun Hillard II, the Pistons salary is about $54 million.Papa Pugzo said:cap guys, how much do the pistons have after trading meeks?
sounds about right. can we wait to sign andre until after we sign a free agent? would that even help any?bosoxlover12 said:Assuming they renounce the cap holds to Anthony Tolliver and Steve Blake, as well as waive the non-guaranteed contracts of Joel Anthony, Lorenzo Brown, Cameron Baristow, and Darrun Hillard II, the Pistons salary is about $54 million.
Then assuming the Pistons aren't stupid, they will send Andre Drummond a max contract that pays him $22.2M in Year 1. So now we are at ~$76.2 million in salary spend, with a $94.4M cap.
So your answer looks to be $18.2M.
