Donaldson is slumping and hurt. Altuve just got hurt and Astros likely won't make the playoffs. Voters won't vote Trout.

It's Mookie or Manny for MVP.

The Astros have at least been in contention I could still see Altuve winning

As of Sept 1 odds via Bovada:

Altuve -150
Trout +500
Donaldson +500
Betts +500
Machado +1000

And from some Sept 13 analysis on B/R (so it could very much mean nothing, but its the most updated thing I could find)

Betts 3-1
Trout 4-1
Donaldson 4-1
Altuve 4-1
Machado 12-1

Donaldson really stands no chance if Toronto cannot win their division. If Houston manages somehow to make the playoffs then Altuve definitely gets it, but if they just hold path I think it'll be a tossup between Betts and Altuve

I can't see a Red Sox winning it.  They aren't the difference individually.  The Red Sox lineup is that good.

Yeah there's definitely a possibility that Mookie and Ortiz steal votes from each other

The ASG in Miami next year is going to be so bad ass. Can't wait to take it all in again. Met a lot of big names at the Minneapolis ASG, Miami will probably be a bigger deal just because it's Miami

I think Betts probably gets it in the AL, but I hope Altuve gets it. I understand factoring in team performance but it's not entirely fair. That's what will kill Trout's chances. I think the Astros are good enough for Altuve to win the award. Meanwhile, Kris Bryant probably has the NL MVP on his wall already

Tigers about to tie a series against the Twins, in September, in the middle of a playoff race. That is the definition of unacceptable.

Trout should be going for 4th straight. His 1st full year was when Miggy got the Triple Crown so that time I understand, but 13-15 should be his

MOY: Francona and Roberts
ROY: Fullmer and Seager
MVP: Bryant

These 5 seem like locks

Comeback player im not so sure. Any ideas? Jean Segura perhaps?

AL MVP is gonna go down to the wire
Same with both Cy Youngs (im predicting Britton and Max)

They're done. 16 games left and 7 are against Cleveland. No way they win more than two of those, so they'd have win almost every game against KC, Minny, and Atlanta, which I have little faith in them doing.
