Kershaw has just gotten lucky these past 8 years lol

Obviously Kershaw is better than Noah right now, maybe someday it will change but Kershaw just has amassed an impeccable resume except for his postseason struggles.

I just say it because Im just amazed how consistent and dominant to me he is every year. I mean how longer can he keep it up, its crazy.

Tigers brought Moya back up. He's been tearing up Triple-A and they need some power. Can't imagine they sit Upton because of his contract but shit, if Moya rakes....they might not have a choice. For now, Upton will man CF while Gose is banged up. Moya slides into LF.

Only until Maybin comes up, I'd imagine, then Moya probably goes back down.

I'd rather just ride Maybin full time in CF and send Gose down though. I love Moya's bat off the bench.

Red Sox' offense is nuttin to f-ck wit. God help the rest of the AL when they use Swihart and Rusney as bait to land another SP.

Rusney won't get us jackshit, but I'm really hoping we package Swihart. Dude just isn't good enough behind the plate (Vazquez is crazy good defensively and at calling games). Plus Swihart has been learning left field and we don't need outfielders. Really hope the crew is showcasing him in left for a pitcher.

Swihart will fetch a nice return and Rusney is just a kicker. Boston has no need for Swihart now and Rusney is a signing Dombrowski would love to wash his hands of. Plenty of catcher-needy teams that would put Blake back behind the dish.

Rusney has negative value. The dude barely has the bat speed for a 90 mph fastball. The only way Rusney gets moved with Swihart is if an equally bad contract is coming back (he's still owed like 55 million)

They'll eat enough of his deal to make it worth while. He still young enough to develop into a decent option in someone's corner OF.

Rusney is that bad tho. He's hitting like 250 in AAA. The only value a team can see in him is a late game defensive replacement.

Really though all this team needs is another pitcher. Porcello and Wright have been excellent. Price looked great tonight and once the results come, he should be fine. We never know what we'll get from Clay or if he'll end up on the DL (he was a top 10 pitcher in the AL before his injury). Just need one more starter since Kelly isn't back anytime soon (should be in the pen anyways) and Owens is definitely not going to cut it.

EDIT: Shit I keep forgetting we have Erod. I don't even know if we need another pitcher, unless Clay continues to suck.

Not feeling it from E-Rod. His rehab was "meh" and his Trip-A outings haven't been great. He was supposed to have been back by now but like I said, something isn't right. Dombrowski needs to rescue a guy like Sonny Gray, Matt Moore, Homer Bailey, or Cashner. They don't need to bring in an elite guy, just a somebody with #2 stuff down the stretch. The run support they're getting helps.
