F-ck off RA Dickey. Steven Wright has the lowest ERA in the AL.

Bogaerts is having a crazy season. Sitting at 3.4 WAR, third in the league. .1 behind Trout and Altuve.

Obviously won't bat .349 all season. Should hit 15 bombs. And is one of the best fielding short stops right now as well.

Everyone thought he'd regress. Including myself.

I thought Farrell was nuts to bat him out of the 3-hole in Spring Training. He obviously saw something in X's bat that has worked.

Bogs batted three a lot last season as well. The lineup isn't really built around power outside of Papi. Just guys who hit for good averages. Farrell feels Pedroia (who is having a terrific year as well) and Betts are best off as table setters.

Michael Fulmer (the main guy the Tigers got for Cespedes) exits after 6 scoreless innings against the Yankees. So 0 runs allowed over his last 4 starts/28.1 innings and 1 run over his last 5 starts/34.1 innings

The only other pitcher with 4 straight starts with 0 runs allowed and 3 or fewer hits, since 1913, is Jake Arrieta.

Interesting.

Bottom 10 with runners on 1st and 3rd and 1outs -- Sox bring Betts from RF to 3B (puts on a different glove) and shift everyone to the right, 2 OFs

--- and it doesnt matter because barnes gives up a hr

Yeah nothing better than allowing a guy to hit his first career homer as a walkoff

Don't understand why Betts was put at third, not like it mattered. He came up as a second baseman.

Yeah, the extra INF was meaningless the minute they allowed Dozier to take second.

And they just let it happen too.

Hopefully this is just another day that makes Farrell's departure closer so Lovullo can take over.
